Ford — 2021 and newer

- MG1CS036 and MD1CP006, unlocked entirely over OBD.
- F-150, Super Duty, Bronco, Bronco Raptor, Ranger Raptor, Raptor R, Mustang GT and Dark Horse, Explorer ST, Expedition.
- These were locked industry-wide from 2021 to mid-2025, which makes this the strongest domestic coverage on the list.

- MD1CP062 — 6.7 P708, 2023 and newer, over OBD. The newer trucks are the easier job.

- Transmission work is close to a fifth of the whole catalog — worth asking about.

- 5.7, 6.2 Hellcat, 6.4 SRT, 3.2 and 3.6 Pentastar, 2.0T and 4xe, 4.7 V8, 8.3 SRT10.
- Method is boot — the controller is opened to the board. Priced differently from a bench job.

- Subaru is a single beta release covering the 2004–2014 WRX and STI era.
- Mazda is thin, with nothing for the US CX-5 2.5T. Both are call-with-the-VIN rather than assumed.
European
BMW
Bench / boot / remote
- Through the Bosch MG1 and MD1 families, including 2020+ MDG1 units.
- MG1CS221, behind the S68 and N74, is remote-unlock rather than same-day bench.
Mercedes-Benz

- MRD controllers and the Bosch MED and MDG1 families.
- Much of the 2020+ MDG1 line is remote-unlock. Send the VIN before planning around a same-day turnaround.

On “same-day”. Most unlocks are same-day once the module is on the bench, but roughly fifteen controllers on the list are unlocked remotely by AutoTuner instead — among them MG1CS221 (BMW S68, N74), much of the 2020+ Mercedes MDG1 line, and the Porsche 992.2 T-Hybrid. Those are still available; they just are not same-day. The VIN tells us which.
2018+ Dodge, Ram, Jeep and Chrysler. A Security Gateway module sits between the OBD port and the vehicle bus on these. It permits reads and blocks writes, which affects OBD-based work on the car. Call with the VIN before planning one.
